Centre for Digital Humanities Research

Digital Humanities is a new and dynamic program at ANU that supports students and researchers working with digital technology on many disciplines in the humanities and social sciences. ANU is one of only a few universities in the world to offer both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in digital humanities. These programs provide unique opportunities to apply digital methods to cultural objects and analyze, as well as allow students to have a critical eye on the rapidly changing digital world in which we live.

ANU has a strong network of researchers from a range of disciplines working on exciting and innovative digital humanities projects, making active contributions to the development and e-research of digital humanities at the Australian National University as well as nationally and internationally. CDHR has strong links with our National Cultural Institutes in Canberra, as well as collaborating with international centers for digital research in the humanities and arts.

CDHR supports various digital tools and methodologies and researchers working on different topics. We welcome researchers and students for guidance in the creation and management of digital projects and collections.
